9 years old, 13.2 hands tall, liver chestnut gelding
Rides like a ranch horse. Has a great neck rein and great stop. Know both leads and naturally changes leads. Great versatile pony ready to go any direction. He's been hauled to playdays, trail ridden, tracked steers, goat tying, jumps nice and clean and in good form. He'll run the patterns at whatever speed the rider wants. He's not a patterned horse so doesn't have all the problems of seasoned speed event horses that just want to run. Forgiving and tolerant. Happy just to walk and happy to work- no pony tricks. He goes willingly where you point him. Good enough for a 1st pony and good enough for a step up pony too. This is a special pony that will take care of his passengers. They will enjoy not being so high off the ground. Only problem is that everyone wants to ride him! $2500 |
