Trixie -
This mare is really fun to ride. She is really broke with nice neck rein, good stop and lopes nice circles.
This mare will trot the barrels or lope them. Let her run and she sucks the barrels close. I don't think she'll make a 1D horse now, but has a good foundation to go as far as you want. Not a first time beginner horse because she does gave some speed, but anyone that knows how to ride can enjoy themselves. We've been told they heeled off her but we haven't yet. We have thrown a rope and dragged from the horn without any problem. Put her in the arena and she's ready to run the barrels. Pick up a rope and she drops her head and walks off ready to go to work. Point her down the trail and she rides off quiet. This is as close to an all-around horse as it gets. Easy keeper, good conformation, a horse you'll be proud of. Click to watch a kid's barrel video.
